White Roses for Day 16

Blooming in White

Somebody asked if I'd ever painted white roses so I thought I'd give it shot. I kind of like how they turned out but will practice more. Sorry I didn't get the sunflower painting from yesterday listed yet. It's on my camera at least but that won't help you. I did list this one though!

One of the good things about painting every day is that I don't always feel like it, so when I do finally get to my paints I keep it simple. This was one of those days and the simplicity is what makes it sweet. I could do another larger piece later with more detail but for now I'm happy with this little 8x8 inch. It would be a perfect pop of color. I will be retaking the photo and will get it in my shop this morning, then on to the next one! I feel better today and am going to try and paint 2! I'm going somewhere on Monday which will take all day so I don't want to get behind. Actually I think I may be behind by one already...I'll have to recount. This is day 15 and I'll be posting 16 later today. Thanks for your support! I couldn't do this without you!

Here's day 14! Some palette knife roses, just in time for Valentine's Day! I'm really enjoying this challenge and may even keep going when I'm done! I have a bunch of larger painting ideas now, so those will take longer to complete. Thanks so much for all your support and making this possible!

Roses for Day 12

Well. here's day 12. It's more like a sketch or study. I'm trying to simplify roses and there hard for me to paint anyways! I'll have to do more for sure! I have to get this down.
